This past week was VBS at our church. The kids had a great time! The theme was Outrigger Island and the whole church was transformed into a Hawaiian Island. I also helped out and taught the preschool class (which included Avery). I really enjoyed it but I have to say - those kids wore me out!! It was a very fun time with them because that age group is so precious but they are a handful. Anyway, I wasn't able to post any of the pictures I took over the week because I was just exhausted at the end of the day so here are a couple :)
I really need to explain this last picture. Tom is not a baby wearing kind of man. However, whenever Tom is out mowing the yard Cole has to be with him. And since we don't have a ride on mower to make things easy, I got this out so Tom wouldn't have to carry Cole anymore. What is just so sweet is the fact that Tom doesn't throw a fit about me keeping Cole in the house so he won't have to deal with it - I let him outside because he throws a huge fit if he hears the lawn mower and he's not out there! (If you don't know Cole then you don't know how obsessed with machines he is - nothing scares him - he even likes to help Tom hold the blower :) I have to say that Tom might want to kill me when he sees this post but I just love sharing stories about what a good man and father he is.
A few of the crafts Avery made this week - I took pictures because I do not plan on keeping them! lol She also made some flip flops but I can't find those right now.

I love the baby wearing pic! Bailey is a closet wearer LOL He loves my mei tai carrier and when Rowan was first born he would wear her, just because. He asked me to get another MT so there could be one for each of us. Ssssh, don't tell anybody though. When I talk of it in public he tends to down play it all :)
