My oldest two children are with their grandparents today so the house is unusually quiet.
Maybe I should just say it's beautifully quiet.
It's a rare day that I don't hear the nails on a chalkboard whine of one of my kids upset because the other one is doing something th bug him/her.
I sat down to blog about our beach day while dh was out mowing the yard, with little man in tow, as usual (have I mentioned his fascination with all things boy?).
Well, sometime during my blogging session dh brought Cole in and I nodded that yes, I knew he was in here, then I went back to my blogging. Cole was busy playing with his blocks and happy as a clam.
Or so I thought.
All of a sudden it was TOO quiet. I got up to look for Cole because I just don't trust a quiet boy.
I walked to the back of the house first, in the kitchen, because dh is out back right now mowing - I thought maybe Cole was staring out the window getting his lawn mower fix. But he wasn't there, and it's still eerily quiet.
I turn to walk into the kitchen and when I looked up there he was, in all his BBQ covered chicken nugget glory, frozen at the sight of his mother, who in his mind was about to clean up hands and take away his sisters leftover lunch from BK.
Instead I grabbed my camera because he is just too darn cute!
PS: doesn't he look cute in the pink princess booster seat?!?

That is too funny. I take it you put him in the chair after you found him or did he actually climb up there?? And where did you get the booster seat? I am thinking about ditching the highchair......not for a pink one though. lol
He was in the booster seat when I found him...I just scooted him in because the chair was too far back. I got the seat at Target, I think. We definitely need another one for Cole because HE is tired of his highchair! lol
that is beyond adorable!!
and you are right, him in the princess booster is the icing on the cake!!
Haha, too cute! Finders keepers right?
He is so cute all bbq saucy. Strange how a mommy knows "quiet" doesn't always mean all is well... Happy POW
Oh bless him. Adorable.
Though the cold nuggets did make me feel a little nauseus.
Oh gosh I thought you were going to say he got out of the house or something and you spotted him chasing after the lawn mower. Phew, glad it was just chicken nuggets ;). Very cute.
Oh, so cute! I love how you got so many great shots!
You have a beautiful family! I'm not sure if you remember me, but we went to Churchill together.
