Fifteen loads

And 2 quick washes later I'm almost caught up with my laundry. Over the last 2 days I've been in a laundry marathon. The only type of olympics I'll ever participate in.

Notice the word "almost?"

I still have a load of dirty kitchen rags & towels, plus a couple of beach towels, one set of sheets and Cole's high chair cover left to do but I can breathe again.

Here is the breakdown:
3 loads of towels
7 loads of darks
2 loads of whites
2 delicate cycles
1 load of kitchen towels
1 quick wash of beach towels
1 quick wash of whites left in the machine too long

I did pretty good this time - usually I end up doing 3-4 quick washes during a washing session since I'm famous for getting the clothes in the washer but procrastinate when it comes to actually transferring to the dryer...

Because I almost always still have something in the dryer. I just can't start the process of folding the clean clothes I wash because once they get folded they must be put away.

Which makes me want to tear.my.hair.out.

Why did I want a two story home again? Because I'm a glutton for punishment. 15/16 times a week.

Next time I do one of these I'm going to take a picture of my living room with all the fun piles I have (the ones you know my 16 month old LOVES to knock down!).

Reason #8 I will not be adding one more person to his household.

I am glad I am not the only one doing the laundry marathon today. And there is only 2 of us! I think you have won the race. =) I only fold when Kayden is sleeping since he loves to destroy my piles too. @@

Laundry and dishes.....they are never ending. :(

What I want to know is how do I spend two full days washing and drying and then when I go back to the hamper it is full up again? Only 4 people live in this house how come we're making enough laundry for 10 people?

Not fair.

I'll be starting a marathon tomorrow. I was caught up on Friday and after a weekend of being too busy to do anything around the house, I have at least 10 loads. If not more. Gah.

Great job on all of that laundry! I was laughing about your reason to not add anyone else to the family lol :)
