This is a normal, at least twice a week conversation in my house.
Tommy: What's for dinner?
me: I don't know yet.
Tommy: Why not?
me: Well, I think we're having chicken.
Tommy: NOOOOO! I don't like chicken
me: Yes, you do.
Tommy: Can we have pizza?
me: I just said we're having chicken, so NO, we're not having pizza.
Tommy: Hmmmph. You never make anything I like. You don't love me!!
**listen for the feet that now go stomping up the stairs, with a pouting 8 year old complaining about how we always have yucky dinners**
Seriously, if I hear that one more time I'm going to quit cooking dinner for the unappreciative and let them fend for themselves.

LOL!! You can't please everyone right?
I hear that! Dinner in my house anymore has become such a bust. I truly enjoying cooking BUT only when their are appreciative people eating it! Bailey hardly eats food at all, he drinks protein shakes round the clock. Cooking nice dinners for my family use to be one of life's simple pleasures for me :(
I went on strike and stopped cooking, guess what now my family loves my home cooked meals. Sometimes it takes something drastic to show everyone how good they have it.
Crack me up!! Kids are so funny :)
That is so funny. Sounds like a night around my house. Although, Meg could live off of spagheti and meatballs...she'd eat it every night if I'd let her.
