Snow Day

Hilton Head has something called Snow Day once a year.

It's a chance for all the snow deprived children of our blissfully warm climate to enjoy a day of making snowballs and throwing them at each other.

It's also a chance for everyone to be hit with chunks of very frozen ice as it flies out of the maching that brought it...

But the kids don't really mind that - they are more concerned with hitting and getting hit with the "snow" and they have a blast doing it.

We went with a good friend of mine, her daughters Jess and Lauren and her mom & grandmother. We had a great time!

Hey girl! I haven't even looked at any blogs in so long, let alone updated mine. I'm hoping to have time to update this from July on...I have so much I need to get on here! Then I want to check out what everyone else has been up to! lol

And I wish we could have some of your snow...just for a couple of days. Tommy is dying to try out his new snowboard. We just haven't had a chance to get anywhere :(
