June was a big month for us.
Tommy left for Texas for TWO weeks.
Two very long weeks for mommy. That was tough.
While the house was eerily calm, and I did get to experience what it was like to just have two children again (which of course is easier than three), I missed him.
Also, my little girl got her ears pierced. WOW!
When I was pregnant with her I went back and forth about whether or not we would get her ears pierced as a baby.
Once she was born I couldn't imagine putting holes in her precious little ears.
So we didn't.
Against daddy's wishes. I think he wanted to get her ears pierced more than I ever did. lol He loves having a little girl...it's very sweet. I decided to wait until she was old enough to ask for them, and take care of them.
So for her fifth birthday she decided she was ready (really, she had been asking for months but we made her wait).
But thanks to a big brother who loves to make his sister cry, she decided to not do it. AFTER we got there and had all the paperwork filled out. She lost it and said NO WAY.
Then June came around and she saw a friends daughter with her pretty little earrings in and decided that day she wanted to get them done.
So a friend watched Cole and we went over there to get them done. She was a champ...didn't even cry :)
