Picture update

I have so many pictures that I want to share but I just haven't had time to get on here and even upload them from my memory cards.

So I did that today, on my 2nd sick day of the week - good times!

Anyway, time is flying, the kids are growing like weeds and I am still trying to figure out how to freeze time. You think I'd have it figured out by now since I have such a brilliant mind but alas my children haven't stopped yet :(

Tommy is doing well in school. Of course things are getting tougher now that he's a big 3rd grader :::choke, choke::: but he's still making A's & B's and enjoying it "enough." lol Football has officially ended for him, which is great for me! About 3-4 games he decided he wasn't into it anymore and getting him to go to practices that I did NOT want to drive him to 3 nights a week became you.know.what. He's number 61. The only player not wearing the blue socks.

Why?

Because 1 was lost before we even got home the day we got them. Of COURSE!

Avery is LOVING her new class and teacher, Mrs. Buttkiss...

No, as funny as that would be it's really Mrs. Buck but if you know my daughter you know that is exactly how she says it. We have a really good time around the house getting her to say words that were never meant to be as funny as they are until she says them. I have the video to prove it ;)

Anyway, she is doing really well. She's drawing pictures of people with arms and legs, and real faces. Which IMO is just adorable! I'll take some pics and share someday. She's also starting to write all her letters (and Kim, it is seriously without ANY prompting from me! lol It must be the age!). She sat down for about half an hour today and did her "homework." Again, I will take pictures of her writing her letters, an activity she refuses to let me help her with, when I get a chance.

And Cole is, well, Cole. Wild, sweet, rambunctious, hitting the terrible two's way early, master climber, master manipulater, etc. I have never really thought about it but if had been my first I don't know if I would have had two more. He's a complete and utter terror at any given moment of the day! But adorable as well. He's not a big snuggler but when he does it's pure heaven!

He's going to be a monkey for Halloween and I don't think anything could fit him better :)

Anyway, onto the pictures!

The first two pictures really need no caption - I believe they speak for themselves :) However, I do want to add that he asked for the "garment," it was not put on him for future moments of embarrassment. If he wasn't such a tough little stinker I might be a teensy bit freaked. But as it stands this kid is a future linebacker, or at the very worst the guy they send after you when you fail to pay your loan shark...

I'm TOTALLY kidding!

Building blocks...

And knocking them down.

Not getting what he wants.

At one of the fall festivals getting her face painted

At the Hampton Lake fall festival...

Avery and her friend Shelby painting her pumpkin...which she did for over an hour!

Our future firemen!

Carving a pumpkin with Grandad :)
