Oh, where to start???

I haven't had any time to sit here and write about what we've been up to or what hilarious things my crazy kids are doing (and believe me, they do plenty to make me laugh...or cry, depending on the day!).

Three weeks ago I started CBS (Community Bible Study). This is my first year doing the study, and as if I didn't think that was going to be time consuming enough, I decided to take on a teaching role. I'm a softie - I can't say no to the kids. Especially when given the opportunity to plant seeds for Christ in these children's hearts. So far it's been awesome! I love my teaching partner, we get along great. She's fun, energetic, and full of wisdom. Needless to say I'm extremely happy I took this on.

The kids have been doing well. Tommy just started wearing glasses! He only needs them for reading and school work, but he really wants to wear them all day. I can't WAIT for the novelty to wear off so it can become another battle of the wills! He also started football...he LOVES it! I'm really surprised because he's kind of a sensitive child. But he likes the tackling part.

Interestingly enough, speaking of battles, I had a friend over this morning and we had a great discussion on behavior issues. She gave me some extremely valuable advice on how to deal with some of the problems we're having. I can't wait to put into action the new behavior and consequence chart she suggested. I tend to respond in anger to much of the disobediance and now I have a clear head on what I need to do. I'll update our progress very soon.

And Avery has a new favorite song. It's "Our Song" by Taylor Swift.

She loves it because of this part: "And when I got home, before I said amen, asking God if he could play it again." She was so surprised to hear that God was mentioned in it, and He is all she talks about these days! lol But it's a cute song and I don't mind her listening to it...it's a nice change from some of the music we have been listening to.

Over and Over and Over again. Not that I want to tear my hair out at all when I'm listening to those songs tho.

Anything for my precious children :)

And I'm still waiting her preschool to start. Yesterday I found out it might even be later than the orginal LATE date. I'm starting to get a little frustrated!

My third child is turning into an evil (is it wrong to say that about your own child?) little stinker. He has figured out how to move anything around the house and turn it into a step-stool to get to where he wants.

Which is almost ALWAYS somewhere I don't want him. Like on the OUTSIDE of our trampoline instead of the inside, where he is SAFE?

But this kid laughs in the face of danger!

No, seriously, he does.

He's also hitting. A lot. But it's usually just his sister (I think Tommy takes a secret satisfaction in it from all the torment she puts him through!). Hopefully this phase passes quickly.

A girlfriend had a birthday last week so a group of us went out and had dinner & drinks. We had a LOT of fun! Her husband rented a limo to take us to dinner in Savannah, and even had coolers in the car stocked with all sorts of fun drinks. How awesome is he? Here are some of the pics I took. I didn't get a shot of all of us at the restaurant but I got plenty from the limo ride! lol Don't mind the bra showing under my blue dress...I did not realize I should have been charging for a looksie. It was still a fun even knowing I was see thru in certain lighting.

Can I tell you how happy I am that you posted a blog! I was just coming to see if you had and if not I was going to email you because I haven't heard from you in it seems like weeks and i was starting to worry! lol

I am glad you are out having a great time. Tommy looks so handsome with his glasses. Kayden has become a little stinker too. He can open the front door now. @@ I think those 2 are going to keep us busy. I wish we could get together soon.

I can not get over that picture of Cole on the outside of the trampoline. How courageous!
