So I haven't had a chance to get on here and talk about our trip to MO yet. I can't say it's because I've been overly busy but busy enough!
However, I don't plan on doing much with this update except to talk about Avery's big adventure at Six Flags while we were there.
I don't have pictures because my camera broke while there.
I don't have the video, yet, because it was taken with my dads phone and he hasn't been back here since we got home.
But I can share with you all what my little munchkin did.
Six Flags has this attraction called the Dragon's Wing. It's 15 stories tall and a 153ft. free fall. In essence, it's just a big ole' bungie jump.
Avery, my 4 year old, decided that because Daddy was doing it she would too. None of us actually thought she'd go through with it.
ESPECIALLY not after she got suited up, put on the platform and yanked from a standing position into a "face on the ground" position.
But no, not my little "go for it attitude" girl! lol
And when she was being raised 153ft in the air???
Not a word out of her. Not a peep. Not even a whimper.
She did say that daddy said "are you kidding me?!?" when they got to the top, tho! She really enjoys telling us all about that one...
Anyway, Avery got a standing ovation from all the people gathered around. She got off with the biggest grin on her face.
And the first thing she did?
She walked up to her big brother who refused to ride (I think he's figured out that death could be a possibility in some things and that didn't interest him much!) and said "I didn't cry Tommy." This was said very matter of factly, not an "in your face" sort of way but very sweet & cute.
Tommy has since been making sure we know he's just as brave ;)
