I was talking to Tom the other night about how fast the last 11 years have gone by. Our first baby is now 8.5 but it feels like just yesterday that we were driving to the hospital at 5am to be induced, scared to death because we had no idea how to be parents. When we brought Tommy home we just looked at each other and I know we were both thinking "now what?" When I think back to that point in my life I am at a loss for words at how much I've grown along with my 8 year old. So while I was sitting here going through old photographs I decided to post some from each year of Tommy's life so far. Since digital cameras weren't really a big thing until he was probably closer to 2, a few of the pics are scanned so they won't be as clear. Everytime I look at Cole I try to remember what it was like to hold Tommy at that exact age but it gets harder all the time. More proof that I need to stop and enjoy this time even more because it passes so quickly!

Great pics! It all passes so very fast. You blink and they are all grown up. I can't believe I have a three year old and almost one year old! Where does the time go?
WOW does he look like Cole! Pics like this make it easier to stop and enjoy the time with the kiddos! Some new pics of Miss Avery?
